Review of Italian Pizza Company, Old Brompton, London

The Italian Pizza Company on Old Brompton Road started out as an extremely popular sandwich shop next to Earls Court Exhibition Centre. All their pizzas are made in the traditional Italian way with the finest fresh ingredients. Their bases are light, crispy and baked in house on stone.

I went for their ‘Crazy Crazy’ offer on a Sunday afternoon where they deliver any 2 pizzas for the price of one, this offer is always available just ask. I ordered a ‘pollo speciale’ which is tomato sauce with basil, chargrilled chicken, courgette, aubergine, olives and mozzarella cheese and a ‘diavolo’, hot and spicy Italian pepperoni, garlic, red peppers, red onions, fresh chilles and mozzarella. From a personal perspective I found the pizzas a bit too simple I would have preferred a richer tomato base. but this is just personal preference. If your prefer traditional Italian methods this could be the pizza for you.

Due to the fact I was ordering 2 pizzas I didn’t get any garlic bread, they offer two kinds, tomato and garlic or fresh rosemary and garlic.
